Topic There is nothing real called “MONEY”

Money, Bank, Payment and other words of this kind are a part of our daily vocabulary and rarely is there a day when we do not use one or some of these. However, if we sit back and think, do we really know these terms and the relationship between them is a question that not many of us can answer “Yes” e.g. do you know that “Money” is not a real thing but only a notion?

There are always grey areas of understanding, without any pointers of where to go for the answers.

While we all have experienced banking and understand the basics of retail banking, the industry is huge and sophisticated (not complex).

The planned session attempts to give you an insight into the Banking industry and attempts to inform you

  1. What are the objectives of the banking industry?
  2. Who are the major players in the industry?
  3. What part does each of the industry players play?
  4. What is money, how it is created, destroyed?
  5. What is currency, how it is created, propagated, destroyed?
  6. Cash in hand or Cash in Bank – which is better, when, for whom and why?
  7. Channels of Payment (EFT, Net, Mobile, Wallets, etc.)

By the end of the session you will learn that the thing we call “Money” does not exist in reality.

Since this session has been planned based on request of the members, a large slot of this is reserved to address the questions of the members / participants. All are requested to come prepared with your questions – preferably in writing so that they can be addressed during the session.

    Exam cleared within 1 Month

I feel I am fortunate to be associated with PMI-Mumbai Chapter 198th batch, as the 4 days of excellent classroom training which I participated did a world of good for me. The first session taken by Mr. Bharat Bhagat Sir paved the way for my determination and confidence to clear the exam at first shot. More than just explaining the framework of PMBOK, the faculty at Mumbai chapter focused on relating the concepts of framework with day to day live examples and their rich experience. This made me relate to the concepts much easier and reduced the self learning time. Thank you so much for your motivational talks and guidance which enabled me to be a certified PMP within 1 month post classroom training.

PMP certification had already gifted me a new job where I could apply few of the PMI standards :)

    Training Removed fears of exam

I am proud to announce that I have cleared my PMP on 19th-Dec-2016. Training from Mumbai Chapter helped me in a great way. This training was an ice breaker event for me. I had undergone a training with other R.E.P. earlier and was really scared to clear this test.

But I must say that Bharat Sir, Sharad Sir and Baiju Sir made this entier training very smooth for me. They removed all the fears from my mind and helped in overcoming the mind blocks I had earlier. I felt extreamly confident post these sessions.

We can learn a lot with just associating with PMI Mumbai Chapter. I would also like to volenteer with Mumbai Chapter for their future events.

    Motivational Trainers

I am thankful to Mumbai Chapter of having conducted the training session in Ahmedabad. I am really grateful to Bharat Sir and Baiju Sir for their exceptional guidance and motivation during the training sessions and beyond. Before the training I was just “Thinking” of getting PMP certification, but these great teachers motivated me to study, apply, appear and finally clear the exams. The training material is well structured to clearly understand the subject and guides you well for the exam. This training programme is highly recommended for future PMP aspirants.

In-depth knowledge, short and focused study material provided by PMI Mumbai Chapter has helped me a lot for clearing PMP exam in my first attempt. I am very greatful to the faculties of PMI Mumbai Chapter, Mr. Baiju Mehta, Mr. Bharat Bhagat and Mr Sharad Harale who guided me with practical examples and case studies that helped me a lot to understand PMP concepts in detail.

    Well Structured Training Material

My immense thanks to the trainers of PMI Mumbai Chapter and their volunteers for all the effort and guidance. I have attended PMP classroom training (196th Batch) in May' 16 and successfully passed the PMP examination on 13th June' 16 in the first attempt.

The well structured training material and vast experience of trainers made it easy to understand the PMBOK 5 concepts. Their tips related to application processes and exam preparations were very useful.

    Excellent Training Material

Training material was excellent and faculties were keen enough to share both practical and exam oriented examples which had created the base for me based on which i have achieved the credential today.
It has been number of times when i have interacted with the faculties regarding understanding of some critical points and responded patiently by them up to the top most satisfaction. At last, it was wonderful experience working with Team - Mumbai Chapter. Without your support, it was not possible to achieve.

    Nothing compares to inspirational trainers

A big Thank You to all the trainers of Batch 192 (Mumbai Chapter). I have successfully passed the PMP examination this morning and all credit to the classroom training.

Technology has made it much easier to learn these days, but when it comes to PMP, nothing compares to the inspirational trainers of the PMI Mumbai Chapter.

A truly amazing classroom experience filled with light humor and some brilliant teaching. Thank you.

    Personal Attention by faculty

Thanks to the Mumbai Chapter and their volunteers for taking so much pain to educate us about this 'knowledge area'!! I have cleared the exam in first attempt due to the personal attention you have provided us.

    Thanks again!

  • Robinson MosesBy Robinson Moses

    Well Structured Teaching

My experience of attending the class was overwhelming because of the diversity in the people belonging to different industries and the age gap that I had with a lot of people sitting in the class. But eventually the lectures who were there made us and me realize the common link between all of us with the syllabus of Project Management which was a huge revelation in itself and it made us appreciate people from different back grounds. The teaching was well structured and well bounded by everyone’s experience. To top it all the guidance that I received from my batch mates and the faculty even after the lectures were tremendous with no expectations in return, that moment I understood the culture of the PMI club. What a journey!
